You enjoy eating and appreciate the benefits it brings you.
You want to take a few days off from the noise of the city, but you are not ready to exchange urban habits and gastronomic entertainment for a house in the village.

Try a combination of a comfortable stay in an eco-friendly 4* hotel and gastronomic experiences, choose dates and plan a trip. Below we will tell you what taste experiences await you at the JustWOOD Country Hotel and the SheLESt restaurant.

Let's start our journey:

It is only 160 km from Moscow by car from the MKAD along the M-4 Don highway. Here the point on the map where JustWOOD is located, click here! Yandex Maps will open and you can set a route.

About two hours on the road - you won't even have time to get hungry. And upon arrival, start your gastronomic journey at Just Bar with a cup of one of our original herbal teas. Choose any of the four fees: "Spicy", "Bath", "Energy" or "Beauty".

Our teas are harvested by hand and the raw materials are dried naturally, without exposure to high temperatures and ultraviolet light. All teas contain only natural ingredients, without artificial flavor enhancers and dyes.

Having settled in your cabin and rested from the road, come have dinner at the SheLESt restaurant!

Not just a restaurant!

SheLESt is a restaurant of original modern Russian cuisine and a point of attraction for everyone who follows the modern restaurant industry. In 2021, SheLESt entered the top 10 new concepts of the XVI National Palme d'Or Award / "Palm Branch of the restaurant business 2021". The kitchen is run by brand chef Anton Krupenin, inspired by the surrounding nature, winner of the Chef of the Year award in the nomination "Best Chef of the Central Federal District".

It is not only delicious, but also very beautiful – the entire space of the restaurant is filled with light through panoramic windows, and the location overlooking the river, fields, slopes and quiet forest allows guests to make a real gastronomic journey surrounded by nature. It is peaceful and peaceful here at any time of the year. The crackle of burning logs in the fireplace will dilute the winter silence, and in summer, on the outdoor terrace of the restaurant, the singing of birds, the rays of the sun, the rustle of the forest and the calm flow of the Sturgeon River will fill you with inspiration and special sensations.

The main feature menu The SheLESt restaurant – meat, fish, vegetables cooked in a real Russian wood-burning oven. Few current restaurants use it – it is quite troublesome to maintain a constant temperature in the oven around the clock, there are other nuances. But all this pays off with the unique taste of food prepared in this way. It is very rich and bright – no restaurant equipment, even the most modern, will give this.

The restaurant is close to the concept of "Slow food", the philosophy of which is the benefit and pleasure of what you eat, conscious consumption and caring for the planet.

SheLESt supports local producers and introduces its guests to fresh, natural, clean products: vegetables from its own greenhouse in summer and autumn, cheeses from local producers, farm dairy products, dishes from clary (marble) catfish, berry sauces and honey from a beekeeper from a neighboring village.

In addition, the brand chef does not miss the opportunity to add colors to his dishes in the form of local gifts of the forest: from wild cherry and mushrooms, to berries, herbs, fir cones and flowers.

The chips of a delicious vacation

- Start your day with the chirping of canaries with a hearty breakfast, which is served in the restaurant from 9 am to 11 am buffet style and is included in the room rate. Try the freshest farm cottage cheese, kefir, sour cream or fermented baked milk, complement your meal with a hot cottage cheese casserole or pancakes with homemade jam or taste delicious bread from the Venevskaya bakery, which is delivered to the hotel every morning still warm.

- Take a gastronomic journey into the history of Russian cuisine. Try one of the two sets created based on the history of the Tula region. The famous lemon Ankovsky pie and other recipes from the "Cookbook" of Sofia Andreevna Tolstoy became the basis of the "Yasnaya Polyana" set. And in a set inspired by Bolotov's cultural heritage, you can try unexpected combinations in a new author's performance, for example, beetroot gratin with pickled greens and horseradish.

Each set consists of 4 dishes. You will get new experiences and be able to try something unexpected. However, it is important to remember that these sets are only available by pre-order.

  - Order our signature “Trout on a log”. When this dish is taken out, it is set on fire with fir branches in a clearing - a small gastronomic performance! The attention of the entire restaurant at this moment will be focused only on you!

  - Try new dishes! The menu is updated every season.Come again and again, and each time you will find something new on the menu or be surprised by your favorite dish in a different interpretation! For the first time in the winter menu has a section - porridges that languish in a real wood-burning oven! For example, the classic Russian spelt performed by the brand chef is cooked in chicken broth with burnt squid, baked carrots and parsley. And the spring menu was filled with bright colors of vegetables and new gastronomic combinations with local gifts of the forest - an abundance of wild plants, berries, natural products from farms of the Tula region and homemade cheeses.

- Special menu. We love to eat delicious food and love to experiment! You may unexpectedly be invited to participate in a tasting of a new dish from the chef. All comments are carefully analyzed. This is how you put a piece of yourself into a new dish! And from such tastings, a special menu is born. For example, a menu with chanterelles or autumn pumpkin specialties. And in the summer of 2023, sitting on the veranda of the restaurant, our guests could make a sea gastronomic trip. Pop-up bar "Mussel Stories"worked all summer!

- Come to our special gastronomic evenings. The brand chef prepares special dishes, thematic lectures and historical excursions are also held. For example, together with Tula cheese maker Alexey Andreev, we conducted Cheese dinner. And in July 2022, the chef of the authentic Ural cuisine restaurant "St. John's Wort" Nikolai Semenov flew from Yekaterinburg for Just WOOD's birthday, and the festive dinner was prepared in four hands with Anton Krupenin. - Let's celebrate together! It is already traditional to celebrate Maslenitsa with pancakes from the chef at Just WOOD, and on Easter Sunday morning to try Easter cakes and cottage cheese, which were then consecrated with the St. Venevsky Convent. And on Victory Day, all the guests at JustWOOD will be treated to field porridge and pour traditional combat 50 grams of vodka. The information provided can be found in the Poster here.

- Become a participant of the gastronomic festival! Another tradition of the hotel and restaurant is to be part of a regional or federal gastronomic community. In the spring of 2023, we came and held the Cheremsha Festival !Brand chef Anton Krupenin, continuing the concept of working with local cuisine and wild plants, collected delicious gastronomic compositions with wild cherry or as it is sometimes called, wild garlic and included ice in nine unique dishes the festival menu, which could only be tasted for 11 days. Watch our video report here .

And at the end of 2022, SheLESt participated in the gastronomic festival of the Tula region "Levshinsky lunch". The festival was named in honor of Vasily Alekseevich Levshin, a Tula encyclopedic scientist, writer, translator, one of the founders of culinary literature in Russia and was held for the second time. For the "Levshinsky lunch—2022" a list of 50 main dishes of Russian cuisine was compiled — its golden fund. It includes dishes that regularly appear in cookbooks and lunch menus of the XIX— early XX century. The chefs of Tula cafes and restaurants selected the most interesting dishes from it and prepared them in a historical, traditional or modern version.
