Special prize "Choice of the First" from the Movement of the First

On July 5, the results of the First All-Russian Award in the field of youth tourism development "More than travel" were summed up at the International Exhibition-Forum "Russia".

Our project "SheLESt Restaurant" first reached the finals in the "More than taste" nomination, and then won the special prize "Choice of the First" from the Movement of the First. In this nomination, the winner was determined by a closed vote of the Federal Council of the First 89 participating children from all regions of the country, who were delegated by the decisions of the Councils of the regional branches of the Movement. Young activists evaluated 72 finalist projects – those in which children can participate. Creativity, originality, and relevance of projects for the younger generation were evaluated.

This award is very valuable to us, because the choice was made by the children! And this means that we are keeping up with the times!

Among the finalists of the award were projects of various formats: tourist complexes and art spaces, family festivals, media expedients, tours with elements of career guidance, inclusive trips, projects to create human resources in science, innovative fields and many others.

Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, delivered a welcoming speech at the award ceremony: "The projects are striking in their diversity and professional approach. It is important that tourism is considered not only as recreation and entertainment, but also as an educational component. Career guidance, environmental, patriotic, historical and cultural routes, unique locations of the regions, revealing their identity and traditions are presented."
