SheLESt at the TIGASTRO Festival
The fourth Siberian TAIGASTRO Gastronomic Festival will be held in 46 Russian cities from August 1 to August 20.
The festival's mission is to revive the gastronomic heritage of different regions of the country and popularize their local products. Chefs from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok will show the richness of regional cuisines, their traditions and values, using local products and a variety of classic and modern cooking techniques.
This year, TAIGASTRO will bring together 241 restaurants from 46 cities across Russia. Traditionally, within the framework of the festival, participating restaurants will present a set of three dishes created from products of the taiga ecosystem, as well as from local, farm-owned, and a drink — Dewar's 8 Years Old Scotch whiskey or a non-alcoholic cocktail.
The Tula region will be represented by the SheLESt restaurant at the festival. Brand Chef Anton Krupenin, winner of the Chef of the Year award in the Best Chef of the Central Federal District nomination, has developed a three-course set: Sockeye salmon cooked in a cooling oven with melted sour cream, pickled cranberries, dill mayonnaise and potato brushwood.
